Weekends Are For . . .

This weekend it’s way too lovely for filling in this blank with “staying indoors”.  Maybe it’s the lower humidity or the acceptance Fall is literally around the corner.  It really is my favorite season, with the exception of the shorter days. So much to do to get clients ready for the holidays!

If staying in bed for an extra hour is your fill-in-the-blank response, this is just for you!  A recent Guest Room photo shoot at Project Ballentyne has yielded some pretty pics!  (Photographed by the talented Whitney Gray.)

Project Ballentyne Guest Room

When I saw this bed at the High Point Market, a couple of years ago, I knew it would be the one for my clients.  (It can take up to six months for a new market introduction to be ready to ship so we patiently waited for it to arrive.)

Long story short, it became the inspiration piece as the wrapped, caned headboard is to-die-for.  It was from the Primrose Hill Collection for the Hooker Furniture Co.  (You can check out more details by clicking on my Facebook page.)

Off to enjoy the day!  What are your weekend plans?

All my best

Totally worth waiting for, as all go things are.
The pillows and colors make the room so serene.
